Poetry has taken over Shoreless Lake School!

Students from 5th and 9th grades have interpreted some famous poems of Spanish Literature.

Miguel Alarcón, our 5th grade student, impersonating a pirate, recited for us one of the most well known poems of the famous 19th century poet José de Espronceda: La Canción del Pirata.

The students from 9th grade surprised us with quite a performance of a poem selected from one of the most impressive and celebrated books of World Literature,  El Ingenioso Hidalgo Don Quijote de la Mancha.

These presentations were organised by Ms. Daniela (Spanish Language teacher), Ms. Francisca (5th grade teacher), and Ms. Caridad (French Language teacher).

Congratulations to both teachers and students for all your effort, and for such a remarkable presentation!

Our sincerest condolences

RMooneyIt was with great sadness that we learned about the death of our dear teacher and friend Dr. Robert Mooney, a teacher in our school for more than eight years.
There are no words to express how deeply we mourn his loss. His professionalism and kindness engaged and motivated us. New teachers and staff were always blessed to have his wise advice and experience.
Those of us who had the honor and pleasure of working with him miss him dearly.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends, hoping that the good memories of such a wonderful person may help to ease the pain of this loss.
With all our love and condolences,
Shoreless Lake School
